The CW is the latest network to throw its hat in the Thursday ring with a
bold scheduling move on the most lucrative night on television.
The network, which will officially unveil its
fall schedule Thursday, plans to slot hot new drama "Vampire Diaries" on
8 p.m. Thursdays, paired with "Supernatural."
"Vampire Diaries" will replace departing veteran series "Smallville," whose
ninth and final season will air at 8 p.m. on
Fridays.
New drama "Melrose Place"
will be paired with "90210," repeating the launch pattern for the original
"Melrose Place," which followed "Beverly
Hills, 90210" on Fox in fall 1992.
Focusing on a group of young male and
female models, the new
drama "Beautiful Life" is considered a perfect scripted companion for "America's
Next Top Model" and will launch after the hit reality series on
Wednesdays.
The CW's flagship Monday lineup of "Gossip
Girl" and "One
Tree Hill" will stay intact. The network recently announced that it will
stop programing Sunday nights, enabling its affiliated stations to air what they
choose.
"Smallville" had been in the Thursday 8 p.m. period for the past
four seasons. The Superman
drama landed on Thursday in fall 2005, when it was on the WB, and was joined
several months later by then-freshman series "Supernatural."
"Vampire Diaries," based on the Alloy Entertainment series of teen
vampire books, is envisioned as a central element of the Thursday
schedule, where the CW has a built-in sci-fi audience with "Smallville" and
"Supernatural."

NEW HORROR/REALITY SERIES "13" FROM JAY BIENSTOCK, SAM

NEW HORROR/REALITY
SERIES
“13”
FROM JAY BIENSTOCK,
SAM RAIMI AND ROBERT TAPERT
TO DEBUT ON THE CW IN
SUMMER 2008
March 17, 2008 (Burbank, California) - “13” (working
title), a spine-tingling new eight-episode series combining the horror genre
with a reality show format, will premiere in the summer of 2008, it was
announced today by Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment, The CW.
The show's executive producers are Jay Bienstock
(“Survivor,” “The Apprentice”) and Ghost House Pictures' Sam Raimi (the
“Spider-Man” films, “The Evil Dead” films) and Robert Tapert, (“The Evil Dead”
films, “The Grudge” films). Ghost House Pictures' Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane
will produce.
“This series is the first to take the horror movie
into the reality world,” said Ostroff. “The action takes contestants on a
journey with challenges and games designed to frighten them along the way.
Similar to horror films, the challenges will play into our deepest fears and
anxieties and will reveal things the contestants never knew about themselves.”
“13” (working title) is produced by Magic Molehill
Productions in association with Jay Bienstock Productions and Ghost House
Pictures.

TELEVISION GROUP AND STRIDE GUM OFFER FANS THE OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE THEIR OWN "SMALLVILLE"
DIGITAL COMIC BOOK
Fans Have Direct
Impact on the Direction and Outcome of a New "Smallville" Story
) - The CW Network, Warner Bros. Television Group
and Stride Gum are teaming up to offer fans the unique opportunity to create
their own "Smallville" adventure in the form of a new digital comic book based
on the hit TV series (airing Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW).
The writers and producers of "Smallville"
have developed the beginning and the end of an all-new comic book adventure and
will leave it to fans to determine the direction of all of the action in
between.
This innovative online
promotion kicks off on Thursday, March 13, in conjunction with that night's
episode of "Smallville." Both the episode and the comic book storyline revolve
around the return of Pete Ross (played in the series by original "Smallville"
cast member Sam Jones III), who has garnered incredible "elastic" super powers
after chewing special, kryptonite-infused Stride Gum.
Fans can go to cwtv.com and
read the opening pages of this new comic book adventure. They'll then be
presented with two options (four pages each) which take the comic book in two
different directions, and they can vote on the direction in which they want the
story to go. Every following Tuesday and Thursday on cwtv.com, viewers can find
two new sets of comic book pages and vote on which way they want the story to
progress. The promotion runs through April 7, and each scene developed will
become part of a digital comic book produced by DC Comics.
Each vote enters fans into a
national sweepstakes for the opportunity to win the Grand Prize of a VIP weekend
at a national comic book convention plus a year's supply of Stride gum.
Additionally, 50 fans will each win the complete season six DVD set of "Smallville,"
plus 12 packs of Stride gum.

IT'S BEAUTIES VS. GEEKS WHEN THE NEW SEASON OF "BEAUTY AND
THE GEEK" RETURNS TO THE CW ON MARCH 11
THE CW'S HIT SOCIAL EXPERIMENT RETURNS
WITH NINE NEW GEEKS AND NINE NEW BEAUTIES COMPETING TO WIN $250,000
February 20, 2008 (Burbank, CA)
- From the producing team of Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg ("Punk'd"), The
CW's hit reality show "Beauty and the Geek" returns with an outrageously
competitive fifth season, where the new contestants learn they will be competing
not as beauty/geek pairs but beauties vs. geeks. The season premieres
Tuesday, March 11 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET).
The contestants include nine
gorgeous but academically impaired women and nine brilliant but socially
challenged men. The challenges will test intellect and social skills to give
contestants a chance to win the $250,000 grand prize.
Among the new challenges, the
geeks will be in-studio guests with Dr. Drew on the nationally syndicated radio
program "Loveline" and will learn if they have an eye for fashion when providing
make-unders to the beauties. The beauties go where they have never gone before
when they get all dolled up in their best plumbing outfits and learn to clean
clogged pipes. They also join the geeks for a cameo on the #1 daytime drama "The
Young and the Restless." Each of the previous seasons resulted in an unlikely
romantic connection between a beauty and a geek. Don't miss what happens in the
first week of the new season!

January 7, 2008 (Burbank, CA) -
The CW Network announced its new midseason schedule, featuring the return of
several reality hits and giving current shows exposure on new nights and in new
time periods.
The CW turns up the heat this
midseason with the next installment of its reality franchise PUSSYCAT
DOLLS PRESENT: GIRLICIOUS, premiering February 18 (9:00-10:00
p.m. ET) as part of its new Monday line-up. The CW will have begun to
shake up the night a few weeks earlier when its freshman hit GOSSIP GIRL
moves to Mondays on January 28.
The CW's most popular series
AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL returns for its tenth cycle on
Wednesday, February 20 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) with a new crop of aspiring
models vying for the title and international supermodel Paulina Porizkova
stepping in as a new judge on the panel of experts. Encores of PUSSYCAT

back in the spring when the inaugural PUSSYCAT DOLLS PRESENT

premieres on January 8, as previously announced.
Other strategic moves on The
CW's midseason schedule include freshman series REAPER, which
will return Tuesday, January 15 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) before
moving to Thursdays on February 28 (9:00-10:00 p.m.
ET), where it will gain additional exposure paired with The CW's hit
SMALLVILLE(8:00-9:00 p.m. ET).
Additionally, on
February 10,The CW's new Sunday line-up will feature

“AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL”
Seven Additional Episodes Will Air
Wednesdays, 8:00-9:00 PM ET
November 12, 2007 (Burbank, California) - The CW
Network's outrageous new one-hour mother/daughter competition, “Crowned: The
Mother of All Pageants,” premieres Wednesday, December 12 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET),
following the season finale of the hit series “America's Next Top Model.” The
remaining seven episodes of the beauty pageant/reality show will then take over
the 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET slot beginning Wednesday, December 19, followed by the hit
drama “Gossip Girl,” and continuing through the season finale on January 30.
Encores of “Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants” will air on Sundays at 9:00
p.m. ET and Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET.
An encore of the penultimate
episode of “America's Next Top Model” will air at 8:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday,
December 11. The “Beauty and the Geek” finale will air at 8:00 p.m. ET on
Tuesday, December 4.
Judges Carson Kressley (“Queer
Eye for the Straight Guy”), former Miss U.S.A. Shanna Moakler (“Dancing with the
Stars,” “Meet the Barkers”) and television personality Cynthia Garrett (“Later
with Cynthia Garrett”) referee the eight-episode competition that dares to pit
mother/daughter teams against each other in a no-holds-barred beauty pageant.
“Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants”explores one of the most emotional and volatile relationships as
mothers and daughters (ages 18 and over) from all walks of life compete together
- and against other mother/daughter teams - in order to win. Faced with
challenges that focus on preparing them for the pageant show finale, the women
will have to brand a `style' for their mother/daughter team via clothing and
swimwear, create ways of expressing a point of view about issues in the world,
and practice for the big pageant dance number. Not only do good looks, talent
and a penchant for world peace have to run in the family, each team must also
have patience, teamwork and a healthy sense of humor. In the end, one
mother/daughter team will be “crowned” the winner and will receive a valuable
prize package, including a $100,000 cash award, and, of course, a fabulous pair
of tiaras.
“Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants”is a production of Fox Television Studios, with creator/executive
producer Laurie Girion (“Cheerleader Nation,” “Last Comic Standing 2”) and
co-executive producer James Canniffe (“The Apprentice”).

BEAUTY AND THE GEEK” RETURNS FOR A FOURTH SEASON WITH NEW
TWISTS ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18
THE CW's HIT SOCIAL EXPERIMENT BREAKS THE
MOLD BY INTRODUCING A GEEKY GIRL AND HUNKY GUY ON THE FOURTH SEASON PREMIERE
- From the producing team of
Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg (“Punk'd”), The CW's hit reality show “Beauty
and the Geek” returns with an outrageously fun fourth season, where the new
contestants are thrown a curveball that is as shocking as it is hilarious. The
two-hour premiere kicks off the network's fall season on Tuesday,
September 18 (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET).
The contestants had expected
business as usual - gorgeous but academically impaired women paired with
brilliant but socially challenged men to test intellect and social skills for a
chance to win the $250,000 grand prize. But in their first days, they learn they
have to compete against one pair that's the complete opposite - a hot guy and a
geeky girl - which immediately throws the rest of the house into turmoil.
Among the new challenges, the
geeks will perform an autobiographical rap in a nightclub and participate in the
ultimate social test: the competition for Prom King. The beauties will delve
into today's hot topics for the first-ever American Beauty Debate and go back to
basics when they find themselves serving as a substitute teacher for a
third-grade class. Each of the previous seasons resulted in an unlikely romantic
connection between a beauty and a geek. But what happens when one hot guy and
one geeky girl get in on the action?

"BEAUTY AND THE GEEK" RETURNS FOR A FOURTH SEASON WITH NEW
TWISTS ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18
THE CW's HIT SOCIAL EXPERIMENT BREAKS THE MOLD
BY INTRODUCING A GEEKY GIRL AND HUNKY GUY ON THE FOURTH SEASON PREMIERE
(Burbank, CA) August 27, 2007 - From the producing team of Ashton
Kutcher and Jason Goldberg ("Punk'd"), The CW's hit reality show "Beauty
and the Geek" returns with an outrageously fun fourth season, where the
new contestants are thrown a curveball that is as shocking as it is
hilarious. The two-hour premiere kicks off the network's fall season on
Tuesday, September 18 (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET).
The contestants had expected business as usual - gorgeous but
academically impaired women paired with brilliant but socially challenged
men to test intellect and social skills for a chance to win the $250,000
grand prize. But in their first days, they learn they have to compete
against one pair that's the complete opposite - a hot guy and a geeky girl
- which immediately throws the rest of the house into turmoil.
Among the new challenges, the geeks will perform an autobiographical
rap in a nightclub and participate in the ultimate social test: the
competition for Prom King. The beauties will delve into today's hot
topics for the first-ever American Beauty Debate and go back to basics
when they find themselves serving as a substitute teacher for a
third-grade class. Each of the previous seasons resulted in an unlikely
romantic connection between a beauty and a geek. But what happens when
one hot guy and one geeky girl get in on the action?

by a powerful race known as the Magi. Here Tony meets Edyn and Strag, two
young Magi heroes in training, who help him discover his vast new magical
environment. However, all is not perfect in Tony's new world as the

Tom and Jerry Tales (8:00 & 8:30 a.m.)
"Tom and Jerry Tales" resumes its eternal
cat-and-mouse antics in one of the top-rated Saturday morning kids
broadcast series of the 2006-2007 season. Departing the traditional home
environment, Tom and Jerry travel the globe in search of all-new mischief,
pummeling each other with their ongoing slapstick gags in new geographic
locales and culturally diverse settings. The new season brings the pair to
fresh destinations - from the exotic lands of Southeast Asia, Africa and
Australia to the fantastical worlds of magic, mysticism, monsters and
super heroes. Along the way, they'll play tennis and hockey, encounter
fictional characters like Dracula and Frankenstein, become super heroes
with escalating dueling powers, and give a helping hand to history -
joining the Wright Brothers in their attempts to fly, and finding
themselves in the midst of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Combining a faintly modern spin with a nod to the retro, this cat and
mouse comedy team scrambles, slides and slams onto the screen, creating
over-the-top, laugh-out-loud mayhem and memories. Produced by Warner Bros.
Animation. The series is rated TV-Y.
Skunk Fu! (9:00 a.m.)
Already scoring big in the UK and Australia, "Skunk Fu!"
is the hilarious tale of Skunk, a rambunctious martial arts student under
the tutelage of wise old Panda. The goal of Skunk's training is to become
the hero The Valley ultimately needs to fend off perennial attacks by evil
Dragon, and end a centuries-old battle. Skunk and Panda are joined in
their comedic adventures by a gallery of entertaining animal pals - from
the combat-ready Rabbit and the skillful Fox to the adroit Turtle and
cowardly Tiger. Each does his part to guide Skunk along his hero's journey
of enlightenment, usually with amusing results. On the antagonist side of
The Valley are Dragon's minions - his lead henchman Baboon and an army of
Ninja Monkeys. They stand as equal parts menacing villains and comic foils
to Skunk's escapades. "Skunk Fu!" is a co-production between Cartoon
Saloon, Telegael and Hoek, Line and Thinker. Audiovisual rights for "Skunk
Fu!" are being handled worldwide by Cake Distribution. The series is
rated TV-Y7.
Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue! (9:30 a.m.)
In its maiden season, "Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue!"
consistently rated No. 1 among Saturday morning kids broadcast series in
the coveted Kids 2-11 demographic. The latest incarnation of the original
"Scooby-Doo" characters has our canine hero and his pal Shaggy living in
the mansion of Shaggy's mysteriously missing Uncle Albert. Within the
mansion, the unorthodox boy-and-his-dog duo discover a secret lab filled
with gadgets and formulas - including a transforming Mystery Machine and
Scooby Snacks that give Scooby surprising powers. Shaggy and Scooby set
out to find Uncle Albert and keep the secret technology away from the
comically evil Dr. Phineus Phibes. The second season of "Shaggy & Scooby-Doo"
raises the stakes on humor as Dr. Phibes now possesses the secret morphing
nanotechnology - but has no idea how it works. The more he manipulates the
formula, and uses himself and his bumbling agents as guinea pigs, the
bigger the laughs. Over the course of these 13 new episodes, Shaggy &
Scooby-Doo will encounter Phibes in a wide variety of venues - from the
opening of their very own theme park 'Shaggy & Scooby World' - to Phibes'
underground lair deep in the fiery bowels of an active volcano. They'll
even meet aboard a Mexican cruise, vowing to eschew all differences in
favor of a well-deserved week of vacation from "evil" - only to have those
plans go ridiculously awry. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation. The series
is rated TV-Y7.
Eon Kid (10:00 a.m.)
"Eon Kid" brings adventure to the life of Marty, an
enterprising 11-year-old who unexpectedly becomes the human extension of
the Fist of Eon. Seemingly lost for all time, the Fist endows Marty with
amazing fighting powers - but puts him at the heart of a centuries-old
struggle between good and evil. Pursued by the dark armies of The General,
Marty must undertake a hero's journey of action, adventure, comedy and
self-discovery into an eye-popping world of battle-bots, bounty hunters,
legendary warriors and humanoid bandits. "Eon Kid" is
produced in state-of-the-art, computer-generated television animation byDaiwon C&A Holdings Co., Design Storm Co., BRB International and
Manga Entertainment, and distributed by Starz Media. The series is rated
TV-Y7 FV (fantasy violence).
Johnny Test (10:30 a.m.)
"Johnny Test" chronicles the adventures of a
fearless 11-year-old boy, his genetically engineered super dog, Dukey, and
his 13-year-old super genius brainiac twin sisters, Susan and Mary, who
use Johnny as their guinea pig for their out-of-this-world scientific
experiments. Johnny is the ultimate test pilot where no mission is too
unbelievable, no challenge is too great, no villain is too menacing - and
no sister-created concoction is too wild. As long as his dog, Dukey, can
come along, Johnny gives it a go! "Johnny Test" is
produced byCookie Jar Entertainment. The series is rated
TV-Y7.
Legion of Super Heroes (11:00 a.m.)
The second season of "Legion of Super Heroes"
finds the group fulfilling their collective destiny, each member elevating
his skills to new levels ... just in time to face even greater challenges.
A incomprehensibly undefeatable nemesis - Imperiex, the destroyer of
galaxies from the rich annals of DC Comics - puts the Legion into action
alongside new team members. Superman returns from the 21st
century with greater development of both his physical prowess and far
better utilization of his powers to help the Legion toward victory in the
31st century and beyond. Moreover, the Legion finds a
surprising, new ally from across the space-time continuum - a 41st
century Superman, cloned from the original Superman with alien DNA added
to the mix for new, enhanced powers - to assist in its efforts to rid the
universe of this powerful foe. Along the way, the LOSH - including new
members like Chameleon Boy - provides the perfect complement of heroics
and comedy to the efforts of the Supermans. Produced by Warner Bros.
Animation. The series is rated TV-Y7 FV (fantasy violence).
The Batman (11:30 a.m.)
Four-time Emmy Award winner "The Batman" will
focus its new season on the introduction of Batman's Justice League peers.
Expect amped-up action and heightened stakes as Superman, Green Lantern,
The Flash, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter and several others work in
concert with Batman - and even more of his amazing technological wonders -
to defend Gotham from a seemingly never-ending roster of super villains.
The usual suspects return with nefarious new schemes and more
sophisticated gadgetry as the Joker, Penguin, Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze
are joined in their quest to rid Gotham of any nocturnal winged creatures
by the likes of Sinestro, Scarface, Mirror Master, Metallo, Clayface and
even Lex Luthor, who enlists Poison Ivy and her enchanting spores to turn
Superman against Batman in the two-part season premiere. Produced by
Warner Bros. Animation. The series is rated TV-Y7 FV (fantasy violence).
Kids' WB! on the CW will welcome two additional series
in early 2008 - the hotly anticipated "The Spectacular Spider-Man,"
an all-new animated series from Culver Entertainment; and "World
of Quest," an action-comedy based on the Komikwerks graphic novel
series by Jason Kruse, and produced byCookie Jar
Entertainment.

continues to be a unique destination for kids. Kids' WB!, now

Fill the Fall
Schedule
May 17, 2007
(New York, New York) ? The CW Network unveiled the schedule for its
2007-2008 season today at Madison Square Garden before more than 3,000
advertisers, affiliates and national media. The announcement was made by
Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment, The CW.
“Our new shows have
attitude and a sense of fun, and they’re going to define this network,”
said Ostroff. “With that in mind, The CW is adding six new series to our
schedule this fall. With established shows anchoring four nights and
providing a launch pad for new programs, we will also have stability on
our successful Thursday and Friday lineups. Shows that can be enjoyed by
the whole family will air on Mondays and Sundays in the 8:00-9:00 hour,
with the 7:00-8:00 hour on Sunday providing an innovative showcase for
both viewers and advertisers.”
On
Wednesday nights, the network’s top-rated series,
AMERICA’S NEXT
TOP MODEL, showed double-digit growth last season and was the
number one show in the timeslot with women 18-34. AMERICA’S
NEXT TOP MODEL will return in its successful 8:00-9:00 p.m. slot,
followed by the premiere of the new drama
GOSSIP GIRL
from 9:00-10:00 p.m. From “The O.C.” producers Josh Schwartz and
Stephanie Savage,
GOSSIP GIRL is based on the best-selling young-adult book series of
the same name. The show features an ensemble cast of new and veteran
actors, including Blake Lively (“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”)
and Leighton Meester (“Surface”), and focuses on the struggle for social
supremacy among teens from both sides of the tracks in a posh Manhattan
prep school. The fun, sexy and dramatic hour is a perfect companion piece
for TOP MODEL’S
strong female audience, making Wednesday “Girls Night In” on The CW.
Stability is
the key on Thursday and Friday nights. On Thursday ? television’s most
competitive night ?
SMALLVILLE
and SUPERNATURAL
deliver a good mix of male and female viewers. On Friday, the wildly
popular FRIDAY
NIGHT SMACKDOWN! rules the night with two hours of original
wrestling extravaganzas 52 weeks a year.
SMACKDOWN!
was last season’s number-one show in male viewers, giving the network a
lock on young men on the night leading into the weekend.
Sundays will kick off the 7:00-8:00 p.m. hour with two new reality shows.
At 7:00 p.m., CW
NOW will premiere as the ultimate source for everything hip, hot
and happening in youth culture. From the producers of the entertainment
magazine show “Extra,”
CW NOW
utilizes eye-catching graphics and visuals in a fast-paced mix of
celebrity gossip and current fashion and lifestyle trends. Advertisers
can participate by incorporating their brand into the fabric of the show,
expanding on the network’s success last season with content wraps. At
7:30 p.m., The CW is turning couch potatoes into mouse potatoes with
ONLINE NATION,
a series that takes the best of the web’s user- generated video and makes
it available to television audiences. At 8:00 p.m., the new family drama
LIFE IS WILD
brings the beauty and drama of Africa to television. The show will
be filmed entirely in South Africa, with a diverse cast of American,
British and South African actors, and will feature film-quality production
values. LIFE IS
WILD is the story of a dysfunctional blended family from New York
who moves to a rural South African town and finds they must rely on each
other more than they ever did back home. The 9:00 p.m. hour will continue
last season’s successful strategy of an encore presentation of
AMERICA’S NEXT
TOP MODEL.
The
popular Monday night comedy line-up returns with three favorites and one
new series. From 8:00-8:30 p.m., the critically acclaimed
EVERYBODY HATES
CHRIS returns with a first-time ever guest appearance by the show’s
co-creator and executive producer, Chris Rock.
EVERYBODY HATES
CHRIS provides the perfect lead-in for the ground-breaking new
fish-out-of-water comedy
ALIENS IN AMERICA,
about a 16-year-old Wisconsin boy, Justin Tolchuk (Dan Byrd, “The Hills
Have Eyes”), whose mother decides to improve his social status at school
by importing an exchange student to be his friend. When the student turns
out to be a Pakistani Muslim teenager named Raja (Adhir Kalyan, “Fair
City”), issues of diversity, tolerance and coming of age in America take
center stage in this sweet and insightful comedy.
The
Monday comedy block continues with
GIRLFRIENDS
and THE GAME,
the two highest-rated scripted shows on television among Africa-American
adults and women 18-34, helping to make The CW the number one-rated
programming option for African-American viewers on Monday nights.
On
Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m., the hit reality series
BEAUTY AND THE
GEEK, from executive producers Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg,
will return with a new crop of beauties and geeks in this funny and
poignant social experiment competition. The devilish new drama
REAPER
will follow at 9:00 p.m. With executive producers Michelle Fazekas, Tara
Butters, Mark Gordon, Deb Spera, Tom Spezialy and executive
producer/director Kevin Smith, this humor-filled adventure is the story of
a slacker named Sam (Bret Harrison, “The Loop,” “Grounded for Life”) who
learns that his parents accidentally sold his soul to the devil before he
was born, forcing him into a new life as the devil’s bounty hunter. Ray
Wise (“24,” “The Closer”) plays Satan, and Tyler Labine (“Boston Legal,”
“Invasion”) plays Sam’s best friend Bert “Sock” Wysocki.
MIDSEASON
In a
strategy designed to give producers time to make a significant creative
change, the hit drama
ONE TREE HILL
will be held until midseason. When it returns, the story will have
advanced four years and the characters will have already graduated from
college. Online digital diaries will premiere in the fall, allowing fans
to learn what happened during the college years, and will lead into the
midseason series return.
Midseason reality series include a second season of the popular
PUSSYCAT DOLLS
PRESENT, which averaged eight-million viewers a week in its
premiere season, along with two new reality concepts. On
FARMER WANTS A
WIFE, a real-life farmer will search for a wife from the big city,
and on CROWNED:
THE MOTHER OF ALL PAGEANTS, mother/daughter teams must work
together to win a beauty pageant. The three reality shows will enable the
network to schedule original reality series in key time periods over the
entire season.
Following is The CW’s 2007-2008 primetime schedule, a night-by-night
breakdown and accompanying details on all the programs.
